#1 durntaur Jun 06, 2009 22:04:24	Perhaps my understanding of bonuses is incorrect, so I will start there. If what I think is wrong then the point of this thread is probably moot. - Bonuses of the same type don't stack. - Untyped bonuses do stack. So here is the issue: I have Focused Expertise and Weapon Focus feats on a Monk I'm tinkering with. To my understanding, the bonus (based upon the wording in Character Builder) is untyped (attack) for Focused Expertise and a feat bonus (damage) for Weapon Focus. No problems thus far. But then I add Weapon Expertise and Character Builder doesn't add the extra attack bonus because they cannot stack even though the wording indicates that the bonus is untyped. Is this an oversight?
#2 DragonsWrath Jun 06, 2009 22:15:56	The Expertise feats explicitly don't stack. Reread Focused Expertise, specifically the online version. The last line of the feat says something like this: "This bonus is not cumulative with Implement/Weapon Expertise"
