#1 bilbotorm Dec 05, 2009 15:17:29	hello i just took a 1month subscription on the DDinsider; to get the full version of the charac builder, as i reinstalled my computer and lost my build i had paid in march. when i run it ; it finds an update available. I enter my account info; it's starts downloading... and it's stuck in downloading phase till then... "please be patient". It's been 4hours; i think i was patient enough my connexion is 7MB/sec; it should be enough... no ? What's happening ? i am allowed to do 5 updates a month; i don't want to ruin my 5 tries because of a problem at server side or whatever; please let me know
#2 orc_kirin Dec 06, 2009 11:47:15	See this link for help with update problems. If the advice there does not help. you should contact Customer Service for tehnical help on this issue. Click the "Email us" tab up at the top of the page that appears. Also, if you need to attempt an update several times in dealing with a problem, you can Contact Customer Service and ask to have your monthly updates reset.

#4 trellian Dec 08, 2009 12:09:10	I have the same problem. They are saying that the servers are down for maintenance, but they have been saying that since yesterday. And Monster Builder was able to update. When I try to contact Customer Service, I get the message saying that the servers are down for maintenance again.
#5 dm_raven Dec 09, 2009 18:18:02	Also, make sure your character builder is closed while you try to update it.  That is, make sure there isn't a version opened while you're updating.  That can cause the update to get screwed up.
