Jul 28, 2009 10:15:37 Tried doing some searching, but no luck, so if you can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

I'm looking through the rescue at Rivenroar adventure and I'm quickly lost...I can't find details concerning the town of Brindol. There's a map the is numbered, but no key or list of NPC, etc. It even says, "The default beginning of the adventure, and indeed the campaign, assumes the PCs want some time to explore the city." However, how am I to do that without making up all my own stuff? Is it detailed somewhere else? Sourcebook of some sort?

Jul 28, 2009 10:41:41 They just used the map of Brindol as clip art from the Red Hand of Doom module, and didn't provide any details about the places in town mentioned in this or any subsequent modules. You're pretty much on your own to make up the details you want; if you search back in this forum, the errata forum, and the articles forum, you should find updated legends for the Brindol map where people have changed the names to reflect the new module.

Jul 28, 2009 20:50:22 Pick up the Red Hand of Doom. You can probably find it very inexpensive these days.

There is also a pretty good SOW Players Guide that someone put together, floating around here on these forums. It gives locations for Brindol establishments, and some background on the people and region. The author used stuff from the Red Hand of Doom module and his own input in making it.
