How you can release a Character sheet that looks like it has been designed by a 12 year old is beyond me.

Information is missing from:

 Defenses

Attributes

Skills

Initative

Speed

The Attack and damage space

The New Equipment paperdoll is a bad joke!

Who the hell designed that thing a intern that has played way to much wow?

How do you think we will be able to keep track on all our item powers with such a awful system.

Don't forget: the essentials sheet doesn't have passive perception or insight on it either.

There's a version that approaches the classic style already in there - do a drop-down on the button that says "essentials style" or something up at the top and it will give you the choice.

I would say they got some high school intern to build the New CB, in exchange for paying for their WOW account for a year

Sorry thomas but its not even close. Neither of their character sheets give me all the information i need in a proper character sheet.

It i wanted oversimplified junk i would play a mmo not a pen and paper game.

For now i will continue to use the offline character builder and if i someday have to remove it i will go back to doing it the old manual way until the issue is resolved.

Cant say i find a value in paying for something that is as lackluster as the new online Character Builder.

But i wont quite my DDI subscription yet i wait and see if they make any improvements first.

The standard 4e sheet will very likely be added to CB in the future.

People seriously need to read the Known Issues page.

It's the very first item under Top Known Issues: "Only two character sheets are available."

You have every right to complain, but I wish people would take note of what Wizards is already aware of so that we can bring to light the problems that they don't.

I posted this thread right before reading that in the known issues page so i did not know that at that time.

I have already posted a ticket with several issues with the online CB as well as the alpha stage of the program.

Unless wizards start to hurry up these boards will drown in irritated posts from paying customers that at the moment dont think the product they are getting is worth what they have paid myseldf included.

However i know that an application like this never work as "intended" at launch so i will give them the benifit of the doubt and wait and see how they will handle the improvments they will have to deliver unless they want to lose even more customers they they already have lost due to the state of the online CB.

I still wonder why they went and developed a new sheet (the Character builder sheet) when they didn't have the Official Character Sheet done yet...

I can understand building the essentials sheet - to go with the essentials launch. But why wasn't the bloody OFFICIAL Character Sheet not the very next thing they worked on?

That is quite the mystery... but it's a little too late to do anything about it now.  Still, I wouldn't mind an explanation of the thought process... but I doubt we'll get it.
