bug-Akanul background benefit

May 13, 2010 9:00:20		The Akanul background benefit - increases fire/frost/thunder resistance by 2 (or 3 - at level 11) is a problem.

Equipped the frostwolf pelt +3 (resist 10 cold)

The displayed resistance value on the character sheet is 2 fire (as expected) and 2 cold (it should be 12)

I removed the akanul background the the resistance values change to 0 fire and 10 cold (as expected). I take the background again and it changes back to 2 fire and 2 cold.

I also picked up a cloak of survival (resist fire 5 and resist frost 5). With this item equipped, fire and frost resist are 7, as expected. I added the essence mage pp and the resists changed to 11 (5 item, 3 akanul benefit, 3 essence mage benefit).
When I swapped back to the frostwolf pelt, fire resist changed to 6 (as expected) and frost resist changed to 6, when it should have changed to 16.

So I guess the actual problem is with the frostwolf pelt not adding its resistance to abilities that increase existing resists.
