#1 Shinsei Mar 08, 2011 17:29:05	When equiping Dwarven Armor +2 to +6, on scale mail the character's dex bonus is not being factored out. However the +1 version of this magic armor appears to work as expected. This is occuring in the old app version of the character building (yes I know its not supported) and the new Silverlight version of the Character builder
#2 drnick Mar 09, 2011 11:57:34	It automatically accounts for masterwork armor so that's most likely the issue. Edit: To expound (and give an example): Dwarven Scale +1 does not count and masterwork armor so it has the standard armor bonus. Dwarven Scale +2 counts as Drakescale armor which has an AC bonus of +8 and an enhancement bonus of +2 (+10) Dwarven Scale +6 counts as Titanscale armor which has an AC bonus of +12 and an enhancement bonus of +6 (+18)

The item in this case is a Dwarven chainmail +2, that gives a total AC of 23 for a 7th level half-elf bard with a light shield. It should be: 10 + 3 (half level) + 6 (armor + ability modifier nullified by heavy armor) + 2 (enhancement) + 1 (light shield) = 22 Thanks!
