Bug: Hafted Defense?

Apr 07, 2010 7:49:28 I'm having an issue with the Hafted Defense feat. It will not give me the bonuses on my monk when paired with a staff, but it will with a polearm. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Apr 07, 2010 14:33:48 I just went ahead and tested it. Funny enough, there is a glitch testing it in a different way. A Magic staff as an implement won't be held two-handed in the equip slot, but instead it will be held in the main hand only and will apply it.
That being said, you put anything else in the off-hand and it won't apply the defense bonus any longer.
Also, it seems if you grab a quarterstaff, there is a slight glitch with the selection. You can choose to wield it:
Quarterstaff (Two-Handed) or
Quarterstaff (Two-Handed) (Two-Handed) <- wait what?

I didn't know a quarterstaff could be wielded with 4 hands there

On topic... is it possible you have something else selected? Like maybe a feat that could be causing the bug interference? as large as the database is, It is possible it could be bugged with another feat.

Apr 07, 2010 14:46:42 If I didn't know better, I would suggest that the double 2-handed option for the quarterstaff was meant for thri-kreen. ;)
