#1 jacoblewis Aug 07, 2009 13:27:36	I didn't see this mentioned anywhere so forgive me if this has been brought up already. Since the August update, it appears that the benefits for the Scales of War backgrounds are no longer being applied to the character sheets when selected. I've been using that particular set of backgrounds in a campaign that I'm putting together, so you might imagine how annoying and frustrating it is for me and my players when we lost their functionality in the Character Builder. I have faith that WotC will correct the problem; I just hope that I won't need to wait until the next update in about a month. Thanks in advance, J. Lewis
#2 sirvimes Aug 07, 2009 15:18:46	You now need to not only select the particular Scales of War background that you want, but also select the Scales of War background benefit to be able to gain the mechanical benefit for the background. The area to designate the background benefit appears at the top of the Backgrounds area once you select a background.
#3 eeyno Aug 07, 2009 20:19:21	I was having this issue too.. The scales of war background option was popping up multiple times which was confusing. I wasn't sure if it was working or not

#5 sirvimes Aug 07, 2009 23:15:03	Yeah, not a fan of undocumented UI changes. The current version of the Character Builder is my least favorite post-beta both for the bugs as well as how the UI is arranged.
