If not, would it be possible to add the current build number to either the Character Builder FAQ or the "insider/characterbuilder" page for easy reference? I know I find myself wondering often enough if I've remembered to grab the new build; having the current, latest build number in an easy to find location would not only save me some time and my monthly download quotas, but it'll save bandwidth for both the uploader (WotC) and the downloader (customer). |

If there is no update to be found because the builder is up to date, it will tell you that as well. But I will pass your idea on to the Devs. |

That version of the character builder did not have an automatic update and required you to download the latest copy, uninstall the original program, and then install the new program. When you startup the character builder it should come up with a screen that says either there is an update or you are up to date which allows you to update or just launch the character builder. |
