| #2Kaviyd3Apr 07, 2010 15:00:01 | Don't bother -- as you have seen, you create a character with no racial features, meaning no speed, no ability to speak Common, and so forth. You are probably better off reskinning whichever existing race comes closest to what you want. |

| #4nightwalker450Apr 07, 2010 15:24:40 | It's houseruled like crazy... You can goto the character sheet and manually change things. Figure out what your stats are and just put them in, ignoring the possible -11 points that the character has to spend. Then add in feats, to make note of racial attributes. I gave up on this after the 3rd or 4th time updating my character. I just remember what I have. You can't put in skill bonuses via houserules... But if you are uploading these to iplay4e, you can manually open the dnd4e file, and add in the bonuses. You'll have to do this each time you change it. Anyways here's what I've got now: Cashel. He's got quite a few house rules.. due to our GM liking the Boons/Grandmaster Training, and the character builder not really having a way to create new ones. Also my DM allowed me to trade out all my shield proficiencies for hafted defense... But basically the end result is this, there is no easy way to do it, and it will look pieced together, and pretty ugly in the end. But its playable, if all the necessary stats/etc are there. |
