Building a Warlock and the December rules update

Dec 30, 2009 18:45:17		So, the December rules update allows one to select Eldritch Strike rather than Eldritch Blast as the mandatory at-will. In trying to apply this to an existing character the other night, I didn't get it as an option. So, I went and tried to rebuild the character from scratch, but still was not offered the option of taking Eldritch Strike.

Are there plans to address this in the January update?

You can actually pick Eldritch Strike. On the Powers tab if you click on Eldritch Blast you have the option to change it to Eldritch Strike, then you can pick Con or Cha back on the Class tab.

Jan 04, 2010 10:16:10 		Thanks. It's not intuitive if you're working with an existing character. Didn't end up mattering for Friday's game (the GM wasn't a cloaca about character sheet as printed), but good to know for elsewhen.
