| #1chadleyNov 17, 2009 14:24:05 | I have a custom campaign file which removes most of the Dungeon/Dragon/Adventure content from the available player's options, and then adds back in individual rules items as the DM approves them for campaign use. I also have a 13th level character that was, until today, legal according this this dndcamp file. After today's update, there are random bits of new rules items checked as `legal' in my dndcamp file (For example, 3 of ~30 feats in an article were checked as legal). Sadly, I didn't think to save the confused dndcamp file before updating it. Has anyone else seen this happen with an update? I could try to reproduce it on another (not-yet-updated) machine, but it would take some effort to get everything in place. |

I have 2 dndcamp files that were limited to certain books saved from before the update. Tonight I will load them up and take a look to see if I can find a pattern as to what new material goes in and what new material does not go in. I have been curious about the handling of newly published material since I saw the issue brought up in another thread. |

It appears that new and changed content in a custom campaign setting file always shows up as permitted -- bad news if you have a general policy of forbidding material by default. I guess that is why I haven't seen too many campaign setting files uploaded anywhere -- the very next CB update renders them obsolete. |
