Can not open CB after install.

Jan 20, 2009 15:01:37		I downloaded the latest beta build and did the install including the MS .net install.

Now when I go to start the program all I get is the error message "Character Builder has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." No other explanation.

This happens on both my desktop (XP Pro sp2) and my laptop (XP home SP3).
I have looked through all the problems in the forums and can not find an answer/work around.

Maybe it's time to move this program back to alpha?
