| #1dd_8630Jan 04, 2012 5:38:00 | I treated myself to a DDI subscription for the new year (2012), and I can access the Compendium and the CB (though the latter crashes quite a lot), and through the 'Issue Archive' button I can access all Dragon and Dungeon magazine issues up to and including #394 and #185, respectively (there's a red 'Download' button in the top-right, which is where I presume everyone else clicks to get the full issues). Notably, the issues I can't access are issues for January 2011 and onwards. So, what's happened? Did something change back in January 2011 for the magazines? Am I being dumb and not looking in the right place? I bought my subscription mainly for the magazines, so I'm pretty disappointed that I can't, y'know, get them. Thanks. |
| #2dd_8630Jan 04, 2012 7:17:40 | I found a thread elsewhere in these forums that basically said WotC has stopped doing 'compiled' issues (presumably, the full magazines I had access to up till January 2011). Can anyone corroborate this? Did this changeover occur at the beginning of 2011? It'd help if there was some sort of note on the Dungeon magazine page. If this is the case, does anyone know of an easy-to-use PDF editor, that I could use to stitch these PDF-fragments back together? I use these PDFs on my iPad, both for DMing and for general reading, and having hundreds of tiny articles seems ridiculous. Thanks. |

The onese since Jan '11 were, I assume, user compiled and placed on demonoid/4shared. It really sucks that Wizards would just discontinue this useful tool >.> |
