Well, I'd like to have a printed version of my character all the same, and it seems like it would be extraordinarily easy to allow you to, from the print character page, save the file as a PDF. That way you can save the character and just open the PDF format wherever you go, either for easy viewing (pdf files are generally easier to load than the whole character builder), or for easy printing.
Is there some reason why we aren't able to do this? I apologize if this has already been brought up before, or if I'm a complete idiot and missing an easy way to do so.
One issue I saw was the skills section of the sheet. It cuts off at (I think) religion.
If that's what you were referring to being able to do, can you please explain what it is you are doing to effectively make it so? You mentioned having to save as 4 different files. Why?

I'm not sure I understand. How do you print to a PDF file? I understand you can print from the character sheet page, which prints it as a pdf style character sheet. What I want is to be able to save that PDF style character sheet as a PDF. So I could say email that to myself, or save it on a thumb drive, and be able to access it on a computer without the character builder.

They don't allow saving as a PDF directly in the program (at least not at this time, from what I can tell).
To make the PDF file, just view the char sheet by clicking the "character sheet" button in the program, and go to File-->Print. There you will be able to select the printer you want. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro, which installed a PDF printer. Once you do this, it will ask you what you want to call it. If you don't have one, just google for a pdf printer.
That's it. It saves it as a PDF file that you can view with Adobe Acrobat, or put it on a thumb drive, or email it, etc.
Just remember that it will pop up a number of times to save as there are pages in the document. I think this is a bug, as it should just save it as one document. For now, we have to live with it. Also remember to call the file something different for each page, like page1, page2, etc, or it will overwrite the file each time, and you will end up with the last page only.
That said, hopefully they will add the ability to just "save as", like you said. Just keep in mind that they are in Beta, so we're going to find stuff that we take for granted in finished products.
That said Im probably going to go do that now as a temporary fix. But I hope that this is something we get as part of the program sooner rather than later.
