Can't equip a staff two-handed?

Dec 09, 2010 9:30:29 Just that. I can't seem to equip my monk's Ki Quarterstaff two-handed. Anyone know how to go about this? Ans yes, I already tried to "equip two handed" on the equip screen.

Dec 09, 2010 9:33:55 I think you need to give your monk 2 copies of the same weapon and then equip one in each hand.

There also dosen't seem to by a way to equip two-handed in the "new & Improved" online CB either.

Dec 09, 2010 11:59:09 I'm not sure if anyone ever figured out why you couldn't equip the quarterstaff as two-handed. I suspect it's because it is both a one-handed implement and a two-handed weapon. Perhaps adjusting it to be versatile (and subtract 1 from the damage when wielding it two-handed to cancel out the normal versatile bonus) could fix it? It would be far from the only simple fix that never occured to the DDI team (I fixed the heavy shield funny math in about 2 minutes).
