Can't log in to D&Di

Jul 20, 2009 18:39:30 A few days ago, I somehow lost the ability to log into D&Di. I type in my login information to the www.wizards.com/dnd page normally and press the red button next to the login. The page reloads, but still displays the login display (without my previous entries) instead of the green bar & message indicating that I am logged in.

I tried using the Forgotten Password utility, but no improvement. I can log into the forums and account manager just fine so I don't think that's the problem.

I'm using Internet Explorer 7.

I changed my privacy settings to the bottom so that it would allow cookies from anywhere.

I modified my security settings under the Internet header to enable scripting but it was already set to enabled.

I got that pair of erroneous emails a few days ago, but those weren't supposed to cause any actual problems, plus I don't see a huge number of people complaining about this....

I was able to look at the Familiars by Artifice article before I lost D&Di, so I could log in as recently as Friday.

Am I missing something?

Jul 20, 2009 20:56:24 The same thing was/is happening to me. I can't log in from the homepage, but I can log in from any other page. Try just going to a random page and logging in there.

If that doesn't work... clear your Cookies and Temporary Internet Files and try again.

Jul 21, 2009 8:07:29 Still no good. I reset the items you mentioned, reset my password and tried logging into the Compendium instead of into the front page. I'm still not getting any results...it doesn't even toss me an error message to let me know what's wrong. It just clears the login fields and goes back to what it was before.

Frustrating!

I usually rely on the Compendium to help me prep my Eberron game and now I can't!

You might want to contact Customer Service about this.

Choose the "Email Us" tab, then "Online Gaming">"D&D Insider">"Character Builder">" Report a bug".

Give as much detail as you can about what you are experiencing and what you've already tried.

Right now, on my work computer, using IE6, I have to change my password everyday so that I can log in.
The same password that I use at home doesn't work here.
So I go forget password, and then reset it, and then change it back to what it was and I can finally log-in.
