I've always been able to use Adventure Tools on my computer fine and constantly made monsters for my campaign...and then we took about a four month break after that campaign ended. I open up my Adventure Tools today to tweak some monsters for tonight and it wants me to update.  I'm having troubles updating, the green bar just freezes in place about 1/4 through, but through some strange magic I got it to finish updating.  Hooray! I try to open the Adventure Tools and it immediately crashes.  I uninstall the program again and now I'm stuck trying to update.  I've followed the suggestions in this thread but haven't had much luck.  The error I get when I tried to open the Adventure Tools was the white box saying the program had stopped responding and asks if I would like to close it or wait (I think, I don't have the window up at the moment since I'm trying to install updates again). I can't even open it without installing updates, the option to launch the Adventure Tools is grayed out.  I have a game tonight and nothing to throw at my players!  ;_; I'm using Windows 7 and do not have the Character Builder running.
