Can't take Epic Destinies (Multiclass Issue)

I tested this with a few different characters. Normally, multiclassing into, say, Fighter, allows you to take PPs/EDs with that class as a prerequisite. This works fine for Paragon Paths, however, it doesn't work for Epic Destinies.

Example: I make a Cleric and give him the Fighter Multiclass feat (Student of the Sword). Now I can take Pit Fighter, Kensei, etc at 11. However, at 21, I cannot, legally, take any Fighter specific Epic Destinies such as Undying Warrior or Adamantine Soldier.

This is actually RAW. PHB pg 208 states that multiclass feats make you "count as a member of that class for taking other feats and qualifying for paragon paths".

Never mentions qualifying you for epic destinies.

Aha! Thank you. I was not aware of that. In that case, its my personal theory that it wasn't worded to include Epic Destinies because in the Players Handbook there are no Epic Destinies with class prerequisites. But, RAW is RAW.

Doh-ho! That's good to know. So much for my Cleric->Warmaster.
