Can the Gaming Table handle turn-based play?

I wasn't able to find this information anywhere. My group is moving away from live sessions and more toward an ongoing play-by-post or play-by-email format. I'd love to be able to use the [eventual] Gaming Table, but everything I've seen seems to suggest it is a live-session only application. I would need a battle map to be something people can log into at different times, make a change, and then save it for others to open later.

Am I out of luck?

I asked this same thing back in the late months of last year. Never got an answer, but I think it is safe to assume that it is live session only for now.

Though I believe that you can share maps with the Dungeon Builder and that may be a way around it. Share the map, have the players make changes and then the DM makes changes, so on and so forth. May not be ideal, but it could be a work around.

If you want a friendly community though for your play by post until you get an answer click the link in my sig, or my title. It is a D&D play by post area on these boards. :D
