| #1jasonaburtonSep 13, 2009 16:33:42 | My insider subscription is ending soon, and I cannot afford to renew, but what I am wondering, is if I purchase a subscription next year (or whenever) can I actually go back and purchase Dragon and Dungeon magazines that I've missed in the meantime? Thanks. |

Last I knew not yet, it however is in planning stages. On the plus side, last I knew, if you stop being a member but become a paying member again you will have access to all back issues. That is if somebody opened a new account they currently get access to all back issues. This of course can change at any point it time. You take your chances as to what the futire holds. |

For additional clarity: It has been much requested, anticipated, and hoped for that there will be a set of "tiered" options or better stiil a la carte options for D&D Insider at some point in the future. At the very least it seems that many people would like a "magazines-only" style option in addition to a "give me everything" option. Many people would like options that range in-between as well. To the best of my knowledge WotC hasn't promised or announced any work on such tiered/custom plans, however. I've been a little off my game of late, however, so if Kentinal or anyone else has more up-to-date information, I will be more than happy to be proven wrong on this. Additionally - what Kentinal said about back issues should be listened to. Right now anyone who pays for even a single month of DDI has access to the entire DDI magazine library. This was not WotC's original intention, and could well go away at any time. In short, while it's a great perk now - don't bank on it lasting forever. If it does, great! If, on the other hand you wait a year to re-subscribe and find you suddenly don't have access to back-issues, be forwarned. |
