| #1Zinger2099Jan 19, 2011 14:54:36 | If I canceled my DDi Subscription now, even though it does not expire until December, what happens with the money that I have already payed for those remaining months? Will I get refunded? Or will I be screwed? |
| #2totemenschJan 19, 2011 15:00:54 | You can request a refund thru customer support, and should get one. At least the majority online have indicated that they have received refunds, just make sure you tell them that you want a refund for the remaining time on your subscription. Joe |

Anecdotal evidence suggests it's harder to get refunds than it was a few months ago; might have to jump through a few extra hoops. Either way, let us know how it goes. |
| #6MedrievJan 19, 2011 15:59:03 | As I've posted elsewhere, this is the response I got to a request for a proportional refund for the reduced service we are now being given (typos are theirs not mine): Than you for your patience. Unfortunately we are unable to grant you a refund for what you see as reduced service. If you would like, we can cancel your subscription and give you a refund for the remainder of time you have left. It seems getting out completely is the only option they're offering so it might be easier than you think. |
| #7DMapleJan 20, 2011 4:28:53 | Yeah I don't think you'll get a refund for the ****-ups in November that some people got, but you should get it without a problem for any remaining months on your subscription. |
| #8SorovethJan 20, 2011 10:31:01 | I just received a notice that my refund is being processed. It was actually simple & not ulcer inducing at all. I don't approve of the DDI changes at all but the CS was really good. Now how long will it take for the DDI subscriber icon to go a way on my profile? |

You can get refunded, but I had to do it 1...month...at...a...time. Very frustrating to have to call in once a month to request a credit for the previous month....then wait about 3-4 days until it hits your account. Good luck on getting a full refund on your remaining time. They wouldn't to it for me. |

I guess it goes to show that it is not in fact Greate Customer Service that defines a good company, but rather the Quality of its Products... |
