| #1dkjordanNov 18, 2010 12:57:30 | Greetings: I posted previously but received little responses...has anyone else seen where when you try to import a PC that was built by the previous character builder into the web based client that it will allow you to choose the PC to import, but will just sit there doing nothing. The screen looks like it shades out...like it is processing...it does not do the import...I left it there for over 3 hours and still nothing...I cannot push any buttons...and the only way to stop it is to close the browser window. I have tried this on My Windows PC (latest Silverlight version) as well as my iMac (latest Silverlight version), all have the same behavior. Now, I have no special items on my PC...no custom rules, so I don't see why this shouldn't work fine. I really needs some help here...I am sure someone else must have seen this too...if so, can you please point me to the forum thread where this may be addressed? Also, if your import worked fine, please do not post here...I want to speak with the folks who see what I am seeing or know what to do. Thank you all very much. Dave Jordan |

If you go back into your old character builder and look at your PC where it shows legal/not legal or house ruled...you MUST have a legal character, and that is crap! I should be able to bring any PC in if I like. I have no unique items, I did NOT add any custom settings...the only difference I had? Well, my ability scores did not match up to the 22 point based system or any other choice...so, since I am 22nd level now my ability scores builder say I am at -13...and so unless I adjust to meet the standard there I am screwed. Please if anyone can help, please let me know. |
