Cannot install December 7 Monster Builder update

Dec 31, 2010 14:16:39 I've been trying to install the final Monster Builder update for a few days now, and I keep getting the error:
Our servers are currently unavailable for maintenance. Please try again to update later. Thanks for your patience!

Is this update still available?

Jan 03, 2011 0:35:30 It is still available. I updated tonight. I have found that if the update was hanging and I aborted the process, then the software would say the servers were not available - I believe in that case it is an incorrect message caused by aborting the installation.

I do recommend opening a ticket with support.

Jan 03, 2011 4:55:50 I was getting same behaviour as OP. I had to try many times, eventually the incantation worked!

Jan 05, 2011 21:23:44 As noted in this and the following post, it is possible that you need to reinstall completely, removing all files (back up any custom monsters first and RPGA monsters if you want them). Reinstall. You may still have it hang, but it could update after working slowly in the background.
