Hi there,

I cannot log into the Compendium or the Website on my laptop, I type in the email/password it whirrs for a while then goes blank again. I can log into the forums though.

I tried searching the forums and found other people who'd had similar problems but no solutions.

I have deleted all my browsing History, temporary internet files etc. I'm running XP (SP3) and IE7.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it!

Cheers,

Daniel.

Hello Darklord,

I noticed one little thing was off in your account. I fixed it, but I am not sure if that was what was causing this issue. It shouldn't have. If you still cannot log into DDI, please contact Customer Service The login is the same as the forums. I do apologize for this happening.

Cheers Chaos, it didn't help though. I'll give customer service a try.

I sent what I'd written above and got the following response.

Firstly, try clearing your browser cookies and temporary internet files. Often that helps. Are you using Internet Explorer or Firefox? There has been some trouble lately with customers using Opera (although it's been a different problem, still worth mentioning).

If you try those fixes and they don't help, let us know and we'll look into this further for you.

2 days to get a reply and they didn't even read what I sent them.

This is why I hate dealing with Customer Services...

With most CS organizations, they always ask the same first set of questions. They need to have it on record, even if you have said you did it, that they asked you to do it.

Aye it is a bit disheartening though. Hopefully they'll come back to me with some ideas.

Are you sure you are using your email to try and login and not your "User Name"? I had the same problem. I was trying to use the name on my account and not my email to login.

No I am using my email address, cheers for the idea though!

I've had no official response to my problem since the weekend, when I got an automated response saying support would respond within 2 days...

Still no response since the automated the weekend before last, does anyone know if problems ever get forgotten about, or are support overrun with issues at the moment?

Cheers,

Daniel.

Aha I got a response back saying everything seemed fine in my account, and to try a different browser. Well I'd tried IE7 and Goggle Chrome, and they both did the same, Firefox however works!

It's not a perfect solution as I'd rather use Chrome, but still I've got it working and that's the main thing!

So for anyone else who has this issue give Firefox a try, I'm guessing the site must be optimised for it or something.
