| #1spudolasJun 23, 2009 17:15:01 | Just been through customizing all my power cards after reading about it on this forum (thanks guys ).All worked fine apart from twin strike which although it is a melee / ranged skill does not allow you to select a melee weapon. Do other people get this ? Is this a known bug ? Spud |
| #2DMapleJun 26, 2009 6:27:32 | I've notice that too. Other ranger powers that are range/melee it doesn't seem to have a problem listing both melee or ranged weapons but twin strike it does. |
| #3seanherring_dupJun 28, 2009 0:39:09 | Do you have melee weapons selected in the shopping area for your equipped weapons? I seem to recall that my ranger had an issue where it didn't recognise it quite right...so I equipped the two melee weapons and it showed it just fine and included my bow. |

Good idea thanks for that ... I didn't think to try that ! I did play around editting the XML in the savefile but adding another .... clause for longsword in the twinstrike section didn't get picked up. Will try this workaround this evening. |
| #5seanherring_dupJun 29, 2009 7:53:54 | If you played with the xml you may just want to create a brand new one..the last hting you need is for its to find another reason to not cooperate ![]() |

Yeah I know ... too much time on my hands :P |
| #7elfwenchJun 29, 2009 11:11:13 | Just been through customizing all my power cards after reading about it on this forum (thanks guys I think that this depends on if you are a two weapon ranger or an archer ranger.Twin strike with melee is one strike with each weapon. If you are an archer ranger, you don't have the two weapon fighting style, therefore you cannot attack once with each weapon. The two weapon melee ranger is actually at an advantage in that respect in that they can there is no such restriction on using it as a ranged attack, as it takes no additional "skill" to be able to fire off two arrows in lieu of one, so they can use either their melee weapon or their ranged weapon. But I would check with Customer Support on that in case I'm wrong. |

All the two weapon fighting style allows you to do is to equip a normal weapon in your off-hand rather than having to use an off-hand weapon. You can still have, say, a longsword in your main hand and a short-sword in your off hand. Anyway, in this particular case I do have the two weapon fighting style and it still doesn't allow me to customize and add a sword. |

Tried that last night ... worked fine. Thanks for that workaround. |

The only problem with this being that if you want the attack bonus to show your ranged weapon score, you won't have it. It'll show your melee bonus instead. |

| #13bdmojoJul 07, 2009 10:24:55 | Ummm not if you customize the card to show each weapon at the bottom middle of the card... It will show up in the weapons list, but the default in the top block of the card will be for melee, not for ranged. |
| #14seanherring_dupJul 08, 2009 5:00:00 | It will show up in the weapons list, but the default in the top block of the card will be for melee, not for ranged. Well at this point check vs the latest update and see if its still a problem...they tweaked this stuff... Otherwise...is that really a big deal? Personally I find the top of the card to be a harder "quick read" as opposed to the bottom where all my data is in a straight line thats easy to read. |
| #15bdmojoJul 08, 2009 9:43:21 | Well at this point check vs the latest update and see if its still a problem...they tweaked this stuff... Same issue in the version released July 7th. It's a minor issue. But if I have a longbow equipped, why can't I show non ranged weapons as an option? The workaround is still a poor substitute for actually fixing the real problem. Especially since it affects more than this one card. |
