Cannot subscribe to DDI

My gaming group has finally decided to move up to 4E and I, as the DM, would really like to have access to the tools available from DDI. I cannot, however, subscribe to it!

I keep getting the error that my information needs to be verified, I've tried several times and know it's all correct. To try and see if this problem was limited to myself, I had a good friend of mine try making an account for himself, and he ended up getting the same result as me. The exact text is: We are unable to process your order. Please verify your information and try again.

After going to the help pages, I found this error and tried to go to their billing support page, but the links simply bring me to a blank page. The only thing I can possibly think of is that there could be some type of maintenance going on or something. If anyone has any ideas as to the problem, help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gabraxa,

I empathize with your predicament as I have been foiled almost twenty times by the hatred
We are unable to process your order. Please verify your information and try again.

screen, though I eventually got the D&D Insider website to accept my order.

Here's something you can try:
Sign-in to Gleemax/Wizards.com and go to

Manage D&D Insider > My Billing Address Information

Fill in the details and make sure you type in exactly the same name, address and details when you place your subscription order at D&D Insider (the screen where you enter your credit card/Paypal details).

Just made sure they were all the same, still getting the error though. So essentially all I can do is just keep attempting the subscription until it finally goes through? Seems really random and unfortunate. I've tried a good nine or ten times now, it's pretty frustrating.

Edit: In what I thought was a spark of brilliance I tried using a different browser (Chrome instead of Firefox) and still had the same result. Ugh.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out.

For me it was sorta hit and miss in that I would try different currencies (USD instead of the Australian dollar) and different states and/or countries in the billing address. Unfortunately as it wasn't systematic I've no way to tell what made it work!

Have you tried to subscribe any earlier than the last day or two? The server might be busy people trying to get the update for the character builder which is scheduled to hit today.

Well, seems my friend got it running on his machine so I'll probably just end up using that for anything I might need out of it. Thanks for all the help anyways!
