Careful attack and vicious bow

Aug 28, 2011 22:50:35		I have a halfling ranger in the group I DM for with careful attack and a vicious shortbow. The power is a 1[W]+Dex at-will and with the vicious shortbow equipped, the stat says 2d8+7 instead of 1d8+7. Is this a mistake or am I missing something? I could not find a thread covering this so sorry if this is known or old.

At least one other poster reported the same problem at 1st and 2nd levels.  Might be a bug.  It shouldn't become 2W damage until you hit 21st level.

Aug 30, 2011 9:57:59 		I'm seeing it on a LVL 5 and a LVL 7. One is a pure ranger and the other is a hybrid ranger rogue. I think you're right and its a bug. An awesome bug if you're a player.   I may have to roll up a Ranger with Careful Attack for an upcoming Lair Assault. Would love to be doing LVL21 damage at LVL5.
