| #1melloredJan 19, 2011 12:23:35 | Alright, now that it's up. Report bugs for the next version 1.0.192.0 here. Known Issues Things that they think they fixed. (let's hold them to it) |
| #2zagora_01Jan 19, 2011 12:27:19 | Summoned Steed is only available to cavaliers as an alternate option to their 4th level class feature. As written and according to the new essential rules, you should be able to take it as a paladin utility as well. Armor of resistance now lets you choose the resistance typ for your armor; however, it doesn't show on the character sheet. |
| #3nightwalker450Jan 19, 2011 12:28:13 | Knight still can't choose lower level utility powers at level 6. Still nothing for inherent bonus option. (I've done work-around for my current characters, but still can't create new ones with inherent bonuses) [sblock Things I found fixed] Mages get their bonuses for Expert Mage Druids get their appropriate stat to AC [/sblock] These are just things I have (had) characters waiting for being fixed. |
| #4Alkinoos1976Jan 19, 2011 12:56:13 | Hard to believe, but -- sadly -- true: Today's CB update actually made my printing problems worse. Before, only the 2nd and 3rd pages of the character sheet got cut off at the right margin, now the 1st page is happy to join the throng, which is just dandy, because now I can't even see the skill score totals. This is all the more of a nuisance, since the rescaling workaround mentioned elsewhere on the forum doesn't seem to work for me, either. Please fix this! BTW: I'm using a Mac and Firefox (I also tried Safari, which yields the same results). |
| #5webrunnerJan 19, 2011 13:26:05 | Blade Dancer's Regalia still does not show up or appear to exist in any way. And still no multiple weapons? I'm cosndering cancelling my account at this point because after 3 months I still can't finish one of my player's characters (two weapon ranger with blade dancers') |
| #6CrowOfPykeJan 19, 2011 13:31:18 | Hard to believe, but -- sadly -- true: Today's CB update actually made my printing problems worse. Is your printer driver up to date? |
| #7ThanlisJan 19, 2011 13:33:27 | I still can't get dragonshards to work, and multiclass power swaps are still broken for me. It's entirely possible this is my fault and I would be happy to be wrong. |
| #8CrowOfPykeJan 19, 2011 13:36:36 | Glad they are working on: -Sharing your character files with others (similar to iPlay4e website, I like this) Still need to fix before I renew DDI: -Houseruled characters: items, race, class, feats, etc -Importing custom art Until then, still not renewing DDI. |
| #9blastphemyJan 19, 2011 13:40:41 | Has the problem with inherent bonuses been fixed? There's no mention of it in either the 1/18/2011 Release Notes or the updated Known Issues. Basically, can I choose to turn on/off inherent bonuses, and do they work when turned on? EDIT: I see I missed the line in nightwalker450's post saying this hadn't been fixed. So why is it now missing from the Known Issues list? |
| #10melloredJan 19, 2011 13:51:50 | I still can't get dragonshards to work, and multiclass power swaps are still broken for me. It's entirely possible this is my fault and I would be happy to be wrong. I can't get shards to work either, dunno about multiclassing. |
| #11DargurdJan 19, 2011 13:56:13 | Hard to believe, but -- sadly -- true: Today's CB update actually made my printing problems worse. AAAGGGHHHH me too. This stopped me from using it completely during my Xmas games and now its even worse - c'mon guys please get this fixed !!!! Im using Windows Vista with Firefox and my printer drivers are all up to date. I dont have this problem with anything else. |
| #12captainspudJan 19, 2011 13:59:35 | Not sure if this is intentional or not, but a Hexblade built with the Encounters setting can't pick pacts other than Fey or Infernal. White Well and Star (from Dragon) aren't available unless you build in Home Game or another setting. EDIT: The Star Pact Hexblade thinks its "auto build" stats are Cha, Dex, Con. The main secondary for Star should actually be Int, not Dex. EDIT 2: And the Pact Boon doesn't seem to apply ANY stat to damage. Even with all of my stats set to 14, the Star Pact Boon still totals to +0. |
| #13ThanlisJan 19, 2011 14:07:29 | I can't get shards to work either, dunno about multiclassing. I had a spare moment so I did a fresh test, as follows:
|
| #14phoffmanJan 19, 2011 14:13:37 | The ritual selection seems odd. I have a character after taking Bardic Ritualist, and when it prompts me in the feat area to select a ritual it lists them alphabetically and all levels of rituals. Selecting the "choose for me" button usually results in taking a ritual thats over 10 levels above my character. |
| #15_Mithreinmaethor_Jan 19, 2011 15:17:18 | Not sure if this is intentional or not, but a Hexblade built with the Encounters setting can't pick pacts other than Fey or Infernal. White Well and Star (from Dragon) aren't available unless you build in Home Game or another setting. That is intentional actually. The Encounters characters are/were to be made from classes in the books. Those bonus pacts came out from Dragon magazine not the Essentials books. They may loosen that up at some point but I do not know. |
| #16captainspudJan 19, 2011 15:22:06 | That is intentional actually. The Encounters characters are/were to be made from classes in the books. Those bonus pacts came out from Dragon magazine not the Essentials books. From here: What rules sources are legal for characters in the D&D Encounters: Keep on the Borderlands season? |
| #17ppaladin123Jan 19, 2011 15:26:04 | Not sure if this is intentional or not, but a Hexblade built with the Encounters setting can't pick pacts other than Fey or Infernal. White Well and Star (from Dragon) aren't available unless you build in Home Game or another setting. Yeah, I am not getting my int bonus applied to any of the powers. Very annoying, since I've been waiting to play a star-pact hexblade for months now. |
| #18captainspudJan 19, 2011 15:28:54 | Not sure if this is intentional or not, but a Hexblade built with the Encounters setting can't pick pacts other than Fey or Infernal. White Well and Star (from Dragon) aren't available unless you build in Home Game or another setting. Fortunately it's not that tough to work around (scribble the real number on your cards); the important thing was adding the build. <- easy to please ![]() |
| #19WerlynnJan 19, 2011 15:35:42 | Summoned Steed is only available to cavaliers as an alternate option to their 4th level class feature. I was under the impression from reading the article that the summon steed ability is a replacement for an ability that only Cavalier's get. How does it become available to all paladins as a utility power? |
| #20WotC_TrevorJan 19, 2011 15:35:49 | Hard to believe, but -- sadly -- true: Today's CB update actually made my printing problems worse. What paper size are you trying to print to? What kind of printer are you using? |
| #21DargurdJan 19, 2011 15:40:03 | Hi Trevor - A4 Paper and im using a Canon LBP2900i - hope that helps. |
| #22Alkinoos1976Jan 19, 2011 15:42:48 |
Yes, it is. Or rather: Yes, they are, as there are currently three different printers connected to my machine. Naturally, I've tried them all. Alas, no joy. They're all HPs, maybe that's the jinx. ![]() The problem first cropped up with the December 21st update. Prior to that, everything was working perfectly, and that goes for both printing on paper and to a PDF file. I kind of could live with pages 2 and 3 being cut off at the right margin, since there wasn't any real loss of pertinent game information. Now, however, with page 1 (Character Builder-style sheet, not Essentials) being curtailed in the same manner, ability check modifiers and total skill scores are gone, too. And that IS pertinent information. |
| #23WotC_TrevorJan 19, 2011 15:44:14 | Hi Trevor - A4 Paper and im using a Canon LBP2900i Yeah, from other comments it looks like the issue is with some ISO paper sizes not working correctly with the CB when printing out the character sheet. I'll do some poking and make sure it's on the known issues list. |
| #24DargurdJan 19, 2011 15:47:48 | Hi Trevor - A4 Paper and im using a Canon LBP2900i It seems to do some sort of resize just before it goes to print cutting of a couple of centimetres of info on the right hand side of the page. Strangely it doesnt seem to do it on the power card pages though. |
| #25Alkinoos1976Jan 19, 2011 15:49:06 |
Hi Trevor! First of all, thanks for listening (or reading, rather). In my case it's usually A4 paper, but I've tried US Letter as well -- all to no avail. My printers are ... HP LaserJet P2055d HP Color LaserJet CP1515n HP Photosmart C5180 All-in-One ... running the latest printer drivers on Mac OS 10.6.6. |
| #26tibisJan 19, 2011 15:57:25 | Conditional bonuses to saving throws are appearing in two places on the Character Builder character sheet - in the Conditional Bonuses box under Defenses, and under the box that shows the general saving throw bonus. Also, on both character sheets, the class features Gray Guard Action, Gray Guard Vigilance, and Demoralizing Critical only have titles; they have no summary text. |
| #27andrewgrJan 19, 2011 16:32:02 | For Half Elves, if at any point you've selected Versatile Master, it lets you use your Dilettante power as an at-will, even if you've retrained out of Versatile Master. At least, I think that's what's going on-- in any event, I can say for sure that my current level 13 Half-elf (1) is NOT currently trained in Versatile Master, and (2) DOES have his Dilettante power showing up as an at-will. I know I had been trained in Versatile Master before accidentally re-training out of it, so I'm hypothesizing that's the root cause. |
| #28tmacsmashJan 19, 2011 16:57:39 | Because I'm new and I've made this mistake before I'm asking for some help here. I can't tell if this is a bug or not, but it sure looks like one. As of right now my level 3 Warpriest has a 19 AC (6 for chainmail, 2 for heavy shield, and 1 for half level). When I equip a +2 magic armor it goes up to 22 AC (shouldn't it be 21?). Am I missing something here? |
| #29VeleriaJan 19, 2011 17:13:43 | the base armor increases at certain levels as well as the armors can add additional properties. +2 magical chainmail has a base armor class of 7 instead of 6 and then you add the magic properties on top of that for a total of +9 ac from chainmail +2. Heavy armor generally increases by 1 base ac per plus starting with +2. Light armors also advance but at a slower rate. |
| #30kenjoonJan 19, 2011 17:16:39 | Because I'm new and I've made this mistake before I'm asking for some help here. The bonus for masterwork armor is automatically added in based on the + of your armor. At +2 I'll bet that Chain becomes +7 AC instead of +6. |
| #31tmacsmashJan 19, 2011 17:28:45 | Thanks for the help Veleria and kenjoon. I see that in the book now. On the CB it shows the armor as +6 base when I highlight it for a description, but it's obviously calculating it as a +7. I can't tell if that's a bug or an oversight, but it does make it confusing. |
| #32darkpactJan 19, 2011 17:45:21 | I've run it on a Mac, and on Monday I just build a new character. Loading it today just got me a clear white window. The builder doesn't show up at all. ![]() |
| #33pruanoJan 19, 2011 18:24:17 | Importing two of my party chars still crashes the OCB with the message: "System.ServiceModel.FaultException: System.Xml.XmlException: The '!' character, hexadecimal value 0x21, cannot be included in a name. Line 3767, position 91.", followed by the stack trace. |
| #34pruanoJan 19, 2011 18:26:53 | New Import bug introduced: - when importing an Half-Elf from a CBC file, it will choose the "Knack for Success" power, even though it has the Dilettante power/skill; before it would not choose either. |
| #35pruanoJan 19, 2011 18:29:44 | Import bug: - With the Essentials errata, some classes now have some ability choices, but the OCB does not default and selects the previous (and only available) chosen ability. |
| #36RedSiegfriedJan 19, 2011 19:40:34 | Still having issues with multiclass power swapping. My Paladin/Initiate of the Faith took the Adept Power swap feat and he can indeed select a 9th level daily (Final Rebuke) to swap out and it then presents me with the correct Cleric powers to choose from but when he picks one (Divine Power) it simply does nothing. It still shows he has Final Rebuke and under the Adept Power feat still says "Choose A Power (Optional)", and each time I press it it seems to remember that I chose to swap out Final Rebuke. It just does nothing when I pick Divine Power to replace it. This is strange because when I first tried this with a character I had imported weeks and weeks ago, it seemed to be working without me having to choose anything - the appropriate power was swapped out and the power I had previously tried to choose was just there, automatically. But when I deleted that character and imported the latest version of the same character, power swapping doesn't work. I also tried it with a new character built at level 11 and had the same issue. I have not tried building from level 1 up, though I will probably try that too soon. |
| #37RedSiegfriedJan 19, 2011 19:42:06 | Interesting possible problem? with a holy symbol as well. When I equip the holy symbol it replaces my shield in my off hand. However, if I put the shield back, it seems to assume that I have the holy symbol equipped because the bonuses for my implement powers are calculated as if I were using the holy symbol. Okay, no problemo ... but what happens if I have more than one holy symbol in my inventory? |
| #38RedSiegfriedJan 19, 2011 20:06:36 | Still having issues with multiclass power swapping. It seems to start malfunctioning when you get to the point where you press "Choose an Adept Power Option (Optional)". You can press that and select the power you want to swap but it doesn't seem to actually check showing you selected it, and the Powers tab then doesn't light up indicating you need to pick a new power. You can go to the Powers tab and it will indeed show that you have an Adept Power to pick, but when you press it and pick the power you want, it doesn't get added or replace the old power. |
| #39RedSiegfriedJan 19, 2011 21:00:34 | "5. A level 14 character will start out with 0 XP in the "Manage Character" tab meaning that an XP amount must be entered to use the level up or level down option." "237. Sometimes when making a higher level character, the manage page shows "Level down to 1" and 0 xp." |
| #40jack_of_all_trades_02Jan 19, 2011 22:03:40 | -Still no option for Themes in Home Campaign. -Escaped Slave Theme still does not add training in the Bluff skill. |
| #41Plaguescarred1Jan 19, 2011 22:06:41 | The Feat Dwarf Stoneblood on the character sheet still give a wrong description saying: Add half Con modifier to Battlerager Temporary HP while it should read Gain +2 Feat bonus to Temporary HP from Invigorating Powers used. Note this bug is old dating from the CBC. |
| #42talthusJan 20, 2011 0:36:30 | For Half Elves, if at any point you've selected Versatile Master, it lets you use your Dilettante power as an at-will, even if you've retrained out of Versatile Master. Interesting, my dilettante power is gone from my imported Half-Elf character and I have no option to select one. Same is true if I create a Half-Elf from scratch no matter what class I choose. It was there before this update. WOTC, you're burning through my goodwill here. I think at this point you've left me no choice but to turn off auto-renew and call customer service to get a refund from this month going back to.... what was it.... the October update for old CB? October was that "working" patch wasn't it? |
| #43andrewgrJan 20, 2011 1:00:57 | For Half Elves, if at any point you've selected Versatile Master, it lets you use your Dilettante power as an at-will, even if you've retrained out of Versatile Master. You'll need to select Dilettante under your Racial tab, it defaults to whatever that new Essentials Half-Elf racial feature is (something-knack). You'll also need to select which attribute you want +2 added to, Charisma or Wisdom, it defaults to neither. Basically, check all the tabs to make sure they're dark green with a checkmark, if they aren't it means you still have choices to make. |
| #44LitigationJan 20, 2011 1:08:53 | Summoned Steed is only available to cavaliers as an alternate option to their 4th level class feature. Because the power is "Paladin Utility 4." If it has a level, it's fair game for all Paladins. |
| #45madman80Jan 20, 2011 1:50:58 | Paragon multi-classing still broken. It doesn't allow you to swap one at-will power for an at-will power from your second class. Or, well it kind of does. The selected at-will however replaces the paragon multi-classing 7th level encounter power. And then it labels the character house-ruled. |
| #46thespaceinvaderJan 20, 2011 4:40:56 | Summoned Steed is only available to cavaliers as an alternate option to their 4th level class feature. The cavalier utility is levelled, as is Call Celestial Steed, both 'Paladin Utility 4'. When you select a utility as a Paladin you can select any utility of your class which is of your level or lower. You should be able to grab it at level 6. |
| #47Plaguescarred1Jan 20, 2011 5:09:55 | The Rogue Daily Power Duelist Prowess Secondary Power Duelist Prowess Attack need to go from Daily to At-Will or it won't be able to achieve the expected result to use it EACH time an enemy hits or misses you. Duelist's Prowess Duelist's Prowess Attack |
| #48cdtalmasJan 20, 2011 5:44:00 | The way I see the "sub classes" and "core classes" is like a parent-child relationship in programming. The parent can access the child's "chosen abilities", and the child can access some of the parent's chosen abilities. Two children, however, cannot access each other's--Or not that I've seen yet. However, I do believe that "Call Celestial Steed" is a power GRANTED by a class feature... not a player's choice. This should rule out the parent selecting it at all. |
| #49LitigationJan 20, 2011 6:18:42 |
That has a class level. That means by rule it's selectable by the parent class. Whether an Essentials class gets it by a class feature is irrelevant. Just like the Hexblade's summons are selectable by O-Warlocks, or Shield Block can be selected by O-Fighters, or Magic Missile is selectable by O-Wizards. |
| #50rhianni32Jan 20, 2011 7:17:05 | From what I am reading of the bugs and known issues list users are unable to import custom made characters nor make custom magic items, powers etc. Is this correct? (not trying to start an OMG CB sux de-rail of this thread. Just curious on its capabilities) |
| #51pruanoJan 20, 2011 8:24:09 | From what I am reading of the bugs and known issues list users are unable to import custom made characters nor make custom magic items, powers etc. Is this correct? Even regular chars from CBC are having problems when importing. Both of those issues you mention are on the known list (check first post). |
| #52talthusJan 20, 2011 12:26:06 | You'll need to select Dilettante under your Racial tab, it defaults to whatever that new Essentials Half-Elf racial feature is (something-knack). Yeah... that fixed it.... thanks! I noticed the attribute thing and it should default to neither and so should the Half-Elf racial traits. So then the "bug", as I see it, would be that 'Knack for Success' is set to default rather than having neither be the default. |
| #53cdtalmasJan 20, 2011 13:21:17 | [Edit]Hmm... Not sure where the ruling would be involved for limitations of parent to child, then. Guess I'll have to double-check the guide next time I'm at work.[/Edit] |
| #54DMapleJan 20, 2011 13:28:08 | Hard to believe, but -- sadly -- true: Today's CB update actually made my printing problems worse. I can confirm the same bug (when printing A4) for Chrome, IE and Firefox on a Windows XP, printing to a wide range of HP and Dell printers and an OCE photocopier. It does appear to have got worse, while after the first update (on release it worked fine (for printing that is)) it did crop the 1st page as well as the 2nd and 3rd for me. It now crops it by significantly more meaning the skill value and abilitity modifiers do not appear. (I reported to Customer Support) |
| #55zagora_01Jan 20, 2011 17:44:12 | Not sure if this has been covered, and I don't feell like going through all the post to find out if it has. The 16th level utility power does does not come up as a selection for me to choose when I was buiding a knight character class today. Is this something that is chosen for you with knight classes |
| #56cdtalmasJan 20, 2011 18:03:05 | I do believe that level 16 is a class feature that grants a utility, yes. |
| #57RCanineJan 20, 2011 22:10:27 | Is it a known issue that the known issues list is bulleted and centered? |
| #58pruanoJan 21, 2011 9:02:37 | You'll need to select Dilettante under your Racial tab, it defaults to whatever that new Essentials Half-Elf racial feature is (something-knack). Actually the correct fix, IMHO would be to put Dilettante and the only previously available racial skill as default, when importing, since that is whats in the previous char file and there are no rules for changing that, AFAIK. |
| #59PhobosJan 21, 2011 11:20:23 | Just made a lvl 2 warpriest (storm) (dwarf) home campaign character and I have but 7 diety options to choose from: Arawai, Kord, Silvanus, Auril, Gruumsh(FR), The Devourer and Umberlee I played with my alignment setting, to make sure it was not affecting it, but nope. This is a new chr after the upgrade. I have a lvl 4 warpriest also Home campaign, built before the patch, and he has dozens of diety options. |
| #60zagora_01Jan 21, 2011 16:44:28 | When paragon mulit-classing with a human, I tried to swap my extra-atwill with an at-will from the paragon multi-classed class. It put the at will has my 1st level encounter instead. |
| #61Garry2rsJan 21, 2011 21:04:39 | multiclass power swaps are still broken for me. Yep, me too. |
| #62bremzJan 21, 2011 23:30:55 | Same printing problem here. IE with windows 7 and latest drivers. Printing A4 on HP and Canon. |
| #63DargurdJan 22, 2011 1:58:42 | Same printing problem here. IE with windows 7 and latest drivers. Printing A4 on HP and Canon. Well WOTC Trevor was looking into it but ive not seen any update since those earlier ones. Im hoping for a 'hot fix' because otherwise its back to the old character builder as one of the characters in the game was killed last night :-( |
| #64NanolatheJan 22, 2011 3:24:57 | Some Mouse Scroll wheels still do not function (Web browser GoogleChrome & Firefox) |
| #65CailteJan 22, 2011 7:04:04 | I duplicated the 0XP bug on 2 6th level characters. One in Home Campaign setting and one in Dark Sun setting. I cannot even find a way to turn Inherent Bonuses on, even in the Dark Sun setting. I was able to apply inherent bonuses by exporting the character, loading in the OCB, applying Inherent Bonuses setting, then saving and re-importing to WCB. Of course once you have jumped through those hoops there is no way to turn Inherent Bonuses off. Making a Mul Sentinel Druid with Dwarven racial heritage seems to generate a random set of feats losely tied to Druid in the Dark Sun campaign setting. While a Mul Sentinel Druid with Human racial heritage seems to get an appropriate set of feats in the Home Campaign setting. I cannot get a character to export with spaces in the name now. Arrows (30) show as Arrows Qty 2 in the inventory, and 2 Arrows on the character sheet. While the character has a bow in inventory but a hand axe equipped with a 20 Dex and 10 Str the Hand Axe is assigned for Ranged Basic Attics which is clearly sub-optimal. Dual Strike still incorrectly gives the damage for the primary weapon instead of the secondary one. |
| #66Garry2rsJan 22, 2011 8:53:00 | Issues I've discovered: 1. Multiclass power swap doesn't work in OCB. Importing a house-rule or a power swap from the CBC to the OCB does work, however. 2. Cavalier: The Improved Steed feats do not affect the character sheet (ie, if you upgrade to the tiger, behemoth, pegasus, or silver dragon, it still shows the horse on your character sheet) 3. Set Item bonuses don't show up on the character sheet (ie, you get the Dragonborn Regalia, all 5 items, and it doesn' show you as having the item set bonuses) 4. You can't purchase a weapon if you don't have the proficiency for it. This is important to Dragonborn characters who want the Arkhosian rod for the item set. Thanks! |

Interestingly, if you make a PC in the classic CB and select the inherent bonus, and then import it into the online CB, the inherent bonus appears. The only way you see it is if you go to where you select powers and click on one. You will see the "inherent enhancement bonus". And, the total attack and damage bonuses will be correct. Unfortunately, there is no way to create a PC inside of the online CB and have the bonus appear. |

| #70mondragonJan 23, 2011 2:47:45 | Same printing problem here. IE with windows 7 and latest drivers. Printing A4 on HP and Canon. Same problem here. I sent an e-mail to customer support. This is a very urgent issue. I cannot print characters. ![]() My system is: Windows XP SP3 Ita, Chrome 9.0.597.67 Beta, HP Deskjet 1280, and CutePDF Free 2.8. All drivers are up to date. |

Two things. - Putting a Letter sheet of paper doesn't solve this? - HP is not a model of printer, it's a brand that makes from calculators to computers, and that, in particular, produces hundreds of printers. XP is not the exact version of the OS. Chrome is not the exact version of the browser. - Posting this in a forum is useless, unless you want to comfort other people that have HP printers. But, sarcasm aside, it's good that you notified customer support about it. |

In Italy (but maybe you already know this) the standard paper format is A4. However, I changed the PDF writer setting to letter and now I can at least print the PDF and then compress it for A4 when printing the physical sheet. Finding letter format in Italy or in Europe is very difficult (if not impossible), and posting that suggestion to the forum was almost useless (except for the indirect letter hint). Not being able to directly print in A4 format, should at least be published as known issue with the possible TEMPORARY workaround of using a PDF writer set to letter page format. By the way, the issue seems related to page format since when I reverted to A4 the page got cropped. Customer support should be able to easily reproduce (and solve) it. On the other stuff, since you are not a moderator, I cannot find any reason why you should complain or criticize it. I provided exactly the same level of detail of previous posters (if customer service requires more, I will gladly assist). |
| #73thespaceinvaderJan 23, 2011 9:00:34 | The printing thing is an issue that affected the offline CB, and appeared to be fixed in the new one. They've since broken it again(!) with one of the updates. It definitely should be on the Known Issues List, workaround or no workaround. |

Yes, in most of the rest of the world, we use A4. I know. Still, as you mentioned it was "Very urgent", I thought to ask.
I'm a user of these forums. Seeing many posts that say "My printer is HP" is like going to the butcher and having the person in front of me asking "I want 'meat'. I'll pay you 'money' dollars". Or going to a bar and asking "I'll have a beer". They litter the forums. They litter this one less because it's actually a thread on CB Bugs, true. That everyone else is also posting "My Canon printer" or "My Apple computer with Epson printer" doesn't make their reports less incomplete, or yours more complete. I responded to you because of your "very urgent" phrase. Perhaps I should dial back. I don't use the CB (As you can obviously see). I think people have legitimate gripes against the quality of the service offered by WotC. I think it should be a known issue that people printing on A4 paper have troubles. I simpathize with you, and the many others who experienced this problem. Thing is, when you say "it's very urgent that you fix it, I need to run a game" as if Wizards were going to fix this by next Friday because Mondragon needs his character sheets printed, and the skills don't show, and he has mysteriously lost his pencil to write them back on the printed sheet, and all his game will suffer, and Orcus will swallow us all and spank the Raven Queen with shards of evil, I roll my eyes a little. Perhaps it's because I'm a programmer, perhaps because I'm trained and used to post and read bug reports, but seeing an incomplete bug issue posted to the wrong place and with a sense of urgency doesn't make me automatically side with the user. |
| #75Kaviyd3Jan 23, 2011 16:57:38 | Issues I've discovered: Yes you can -- you have to uncheck the "Show suggested items" checkbox to do it. I found that one when I decided to equip my paladin with a tratnyr before I gave him the feat that gave him proficiency with it. |
| #76sythspawnJan 24, 2011 9:59:30 | I created a Revenant Cleric with an Eladrin as its past life. I also selected the Eladrin Soul feat, which is supposed to grant proficiency bonuses with spears and longswords, but only spears were available when it came time to equip the character. No longswords were available to purchase. Did I do something wrong or is this a bug? |

| #78sythspawnJan 24, 2011 15:00:49 | Sorry. I meant Eladrin Soldier. |
| #79melloredJan 24, 2011 15:53:12 | Sorry. I meant Eladrin Soldier. That doesn't give proficency in longsword either. |
| #80Garry2rsJan 24, 2011 16:44:38 | Right, being Eladrin confers the bonus of "Proficiency with Longswords". Your character is a Revenant, not an Eladrin... So no Longsword proficiency. |
| #81sythspawnJan 24, 2011 18:12:06 | Ah, ok. I didn't realize the two were separate. |
| #82feralspiritJan 28, 2011 15:07:25 | The feats Echos of Thunder and Blood of Levistus do not recognize the appropriate Arcane Admixture. (noted with a level 16 Warlock, Hellish Rebuke modified twice with Thunder and Cold). Bug report submitted. Sorry if this is or was already known, I didn't see it on the known issues list... |
