| #4sallaJan 02, 2011 12:41:36 | I was on last night at about the time of his post ... it was running kind of slow, but was functioning. |
| #5Wizards_DevJan 03, 2011 1:13:05 | I did not notice any slowness but then again I just created a quick character and saved it. I ran this from my home machine on a 5 Mbs connection (not via a corporate VPN--just plain ol' residential internet). |
| #6lokiareJan 03, 2011 6:40:27 | I did not notice any slowness but then again I just created a quick character and saved it. I ran this from my home machine on a 5 Mbs connection (not via a corporate VPN--just plain ol' residential internet). Thanks. I asked because the demo video was clearly behind the network. I have a 2nd tier DSL connection, I can download files while streaming movies on netflix, yet the OCB is slow and sluggish, has game breaker bugs, and is generally hard to use. It seems a lot of the bugs should have been spotted in the design phase. Especially the UML object relationship workup should have caught a lot of these bugs. Other bugs should have been caught by having a universal programming standard. Yet more bugs should be 5 minute fixes, but because of red tape or whatever is happening only a handful of bugs are being fixed every month. Color me unimpressed. If you need help PM me, I'll volunteer to do it for free, I'll sign whatever NDA's or contracts need to be signed, but please just let me help you get this thing decent and working... |
