CB has mysteriously stopped working for Mac users around 11-20-10. Fix it.

In all browsers, all the time. On multiple OSs on mulitple machines. I've dumped cookies, caches, rebooted, reinstalled, you name it. CB worked this past Thursday. Stopped a day or so ago. Now it loads up to 100% and shuffles you off to a white screen of nothingness. Silverlight works fine with Netflix, but not the CB. So it ain't that.

Please fix it.

I just tried it on my iMac 2GHz Core 2 Duo running 10.5.8 and it's working fine. Well, as fine as it ever does. I'm using Firefox 3.6.12 if it makes a difference.

Same exact thing has happened to me.. when thier last "hot fix" went live I think...
I was working pretty good... then nothing..
But according to customer service it's our fault.. It's our wacky computers...our browsers.. even though Silverlight that is interpreting their data and all of us are within the sys requirements of Silverlight.... its the wacky Mac.

I have emptied caches and deleted cookies dozens of times..used multiple browsers.. nothing working..

Works well on my MacBook Pro, in both Safari and Firefox. All of my software is up to date to the latest version.

@ Scholar: I'm running the same machine, OS, and browser as you - still nada.

@
illcom94: Just tried on the MacBook Pro, for old times sake - works.

Oi. Vey. Welcome to web based tools I guess...

@ TheHux: I got nothing for ya. If I get the MacBook running, I'll list the magical specs that made it go.

@Wizards: Make this thing stable.

Yes, it is not a Mac specific error--works for me on multiple Macs. And when I say "works" I mean the collection of bugs starts and does what it was programed to do.

Took awhiles, looks like it is a wacky mac thing. For now. I guess.

It's not the browser, it's not the OS, it's not really Wizards. It's a stupid silverlight plugin. No clue how or why the plugin went bezerk after a few days, but it did. Maybe there's some sorta WotC zap thing that goes off if you try using two computers at once and only one login? I know I gave that a whirl, just to see what happened. (not much) Dunno.

Anywho, once you killl it and reinstall silverlight, it should boot up ok.

So, uninstall silverlight 1st: Quit out of your browsers. Then find and trash the following -

whatever your hard drive is called / library / internet plug-ins / silverlight.plugin<
Kill it, hit the silverlight site and reinstall. Head to the CB and see what happens.

I have a 2.2 Duo, OSX 10.5.8, Firefox 3.6.12

Just a heads up to anyone else who tried this and ran into problems, WotC_Trevor has said that this is a known issue that may cause crashes.

I had the exact same problem, started on the same day as well. Deleting that silverlight plug-in and re-installing it worked for me, too. Thanks for solving my problem.
