| #1wizarddudeOct 03, 2009 1:14:15 | I have a goliath barbarian that is using a battleaxe (+2 Terror) two handed. In the power cards it is not adding the +1 damage for using with two hands. Also it is not showing this as a valid weapon for Howling Strike. Does this mean that versitile weapons used two-handed aren't considered to be two-handed? EDIT: just reliazed I am getting the versatile bonus, however I am losing the +2 bonus from Goliath Greatweapon Prowess feat. So I guess that means a versatile weapon used two-handed is never considered a two-handed weapon. Seems harsh. |

You are correct. And not harsh just the rules. |

From the Players Handbook 2 p.185 "Feat: Goliath Greatweapon Prowess Prerequisite: Goliath Benefit: You gain proficiency with all simple and military two-handed melee weapons and a +2 feat bonus to damage rolls with such weapons. The bonus increases to +3 at 11th level and +4 at 21st level." No where does it state that you would get this bonus with a Superior weapon. |
