A while ago, didn't WotC tell us that the "new" way of CB support would include having the CB content on the same day as the physical book releases?

You are correct. WotC is pretty bad with their digital presence. They try hard, but often fall short.
They did announce why Mordy's fell short, but it is yet another examplep of failing to deliver on a promise.
I don't mind too much, I simply have learned to have very low expectations when it comes to WotC and any digital tool or data. They are a game company, not a digital company in any reliable way. Not yet, anyway. Maybe some day.
