| #1devon101Nov 18, 2010 21:47:17 | Came home tonight hoping that my subscription with WOtC would include a working Charactor Builder. It doesn't, I did see that while I can't use CB I can let myself be distracted by the new game table Trevor is proudly talking about. I want to avoid sarcasm. I am bothered that while the online CB does not work at all, I am being told to look forward to the next "something". To be honest as a customer I would prefer a working CB over haveing resources being used to create something new. |

| #3TheHuxNov 20, 2010 22:55:26 | Still doesn't work for me either. Customer support said it was because of my cookies... which I've cleared out over a dozen times today. I love how this product totally sucks and they are focusing on giving us another sucky product.. |

The "Virtual Table" has to have the developers working for wotc as the laughing stock of the programming community. Stop trying to do everything in C# - it's just broken Java! |

The game table - that wonderful, innovative programme that was supposed to change the way the world plays D&D; was announced almost 4 years ago and would allow players from remote areas to meet on a virtual game table online. Apparantly it can't be done in any .net language; wotc's code monkeys seem to think .net is the best way to programme; they're half right... .net is the best way to programme... poorly. BTW, here is an example of what can be done when good programmers release themselves from craptech like flash, silverlight, and any .net project: www.rpgobjects.com/index.php?c=tiamat I wish wotc would look at things like this and see how much better other web apps are compared to the Joke that is DDI Adventure Tools. Honestly, we're all better off with books and a spreadsheet if this is all they have to offer. |
