As long as they get the update up sometime today, they will be on schedule and there's no rational grounds for complaint.

It's not even 9am on the West Coast. At least give the WotC Seattlites (or Rentonians as the case may be) a few hours to wake up, have breakfast and actually get into work.

As long as they get the update up sometime today, they will be on schedule and there's no rational grounds for complaint.

I don’t think anyone is complaining I think we are just excited.

On the launcher screen, select the link for problems with updating. Then select the option to repair. It will then bring you through the normal update process. You'll notice a difference in that it takes some time to download instead of updating instantaneously.

It will then bring you through the normal update process. This seems to be working for me since it is actually taking time to download now when previously the download was instantaneous.

Yeah the company that we pay to host downloads is getting hammered.

There may be a more serious issue and we are looking into that now.

Did those repairs download fast or slow?

If it is slow, you're golden. If not, I guess you just need to try again. Heh.

Jul 07, 2009 17:42:06 I'm running win7, and to get the repair to work i had to delete the original downloaded data out of my temp directory, then reran the repair. this may also apply to vista.
