Changing Ability Scores

Nov 10, 2008 18:39:36 I noticed this mentioned in several threads so I figured I would chime in and try to help out...

You can change your ability scores to whatever you want in the Character Builder Beta. (Though changing them will give your character an illegal status.) Just go to the ability scores tab and click on the white boxes where your scores are listed. You can then type in whatever value you want your ability score to equal.

Feb 27, 2009 20:56:05 I don't understand; upon leveling to level 4, I have two ability increases to choose. The character builder even tells me this. Yet when I try to increase any of my ability scores, it marks my character as homebrew?

Feb 28, 2009 12:56:05 The place to add ability points to your character is on that page, but there are two drop-down boxes in the bottom-middle/right of the page. This is used for ability points when leveling.

Apparently the default window size of the Character Builder application (on my computer/screen) is too small, and it squeezes that part out of view (both the selection windows for the two stats I want, as well as the vertical and horizontal scroll bars for that box). >.>
