Feb 25, 2010 21:23:15 I don't see it, how does one change the sell price from the dirt 20% to 50%? How does one adjust the buy rate for 10 to 40% more than the crafting cost (and can it be done randomly) for the magical items/rituals?

The selling price is a in-game issue, not a character builder issue; the DM just gives out a different amount of money for the sale. To change the buying rate, just use 'add' instead of 'buy' for the appropriate amount.

Back in my day, when we bought or sold magic items, we had to write or erase the item on our sheet, and figure up the money difference ourselves. AND WE WERE THANKFUL!

Feb 26, 2010 11:16:22 Fluid was the original developers of the now defunct E-Tools, and they had a data base so messed up that it could not be worked with to keep up with some of the more elaberate rules of the previous system. (Gesalt characters was the best example, it couldn't do that at all) It took CMP to correct and patch the thing to make it usable.

I see almost the same type of programing here, though it is a bit better with being able to sort some things and make magical items. Thank you for the reply, though. I will see if Heroforge is a better fit.

I think if you right click on an item you can move a slider to how ever much percent you want to sell it for.

Looks hardwired to me.

You are correct.
There is no way to increase or decrease price or sale price.
Options are 0%, 20%, 100%. That's it.
Should be editable. Definitely.
