Changing Subscription

Jan 14, 2009 12:53:32 Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, couldn't see a similar topic.

I have been paying every 3 months for DnDi, but due to a better financial situation i want to pay for a whole year. How do i go about doing this? Do i have to unsubscribe and then subscribe again? Or can i just pay for one year and it will be added onto the current 2.5 months or so that I already have?

I think - though I could be wrong - that the best bet is to wait until you're within, say, a week of your old subscription expiring, and then getting the new one. IIRC, if you have a 3 monther, and 1.5 months in (for instance) you decide to go to a year, you waste the remaining time on your 3 month subscription.

Again, I could be wrong - I just seem to recall that from another post somewhere around here.

IIRC what you have to do is subscribe for the year, then contact customer service and use the account cancellation process to cancel your 3-month subscription. As the previous poster said, it's probably best if you wait till the end of your current subscription because I don't believe Wotc's billing process allows you to add time from your previous subscription back in at this time.
