Character Abilities "Flavour Text"

Pretty new to posting here, but I had one suggestion/request of the character builder.

Would it be impossible to have an ability's flavour text on show when choosing character abilities? Personally, I like to choose my abilities based on that as often as anything else, and I find it easier to get an idea for what an ability does by that text than reading the target, range, effect, etc and divining the same info from that.

Just my 2 cents.

Nov 30, 2011 23:20:59 Agreed. The old version of the CB had an option to include flavor text, so I was really surprised and disappointed that there doesn't seem to be such an option anymore.

That doesn't imply that the default flavor text shouldn't be available for those who want it. I for one greatly enjoy the default flavor text as a guideline for what the design behind a power was. Otherwise, when I look at power cards with no flavor text, I just see a bunch of numbers and a name with some cryptic, rarely obvious connection to those numbers. If others prefer not to have the flavor text on the card, then that's fine, too.

EDIT: Oh, I just noticed that the flavor text does appear on the character sheet -- just not when you're choosing powers. So part of my complaint is invalid, but it's still inconvenient to not have the flavor text when "shopping" for powers.
