| #1hivemechaJan 23, 2011 17:17:26 | Every time i try to make a new character on Character builder I get this message: [SFxFaultExceptionToString3] Arguments: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[WotC.ContentManagement.TooMuchScratchFault],The creator of this fault did not specify a Reason.,WotC.ContentManagement.TooMuchScratchFault Debugging resource strings are unavailable. Often the key and arguments provide sufficient information to diagnose the problem. See go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=106663&V... What does that mean? And has anyone had this problem? i've had it for two days. |
| #2_Mithreinmaethor_Jan 23, 2011 17:38:06 | Every time i try to make a new character on Character builder I get this message: I have not seen this sorry. Are you going thru the main site and then launching the builder or trying to load the builder from a bookmark to Vecna? |
| #3hivemechaJan 23, 2011 18:42:45 | Through the main site. |
| #4_Mithreinmaethor_Jan 23, 2011 18:45:00 | Through the main site. Just making sure that you were not getting the same error we all were getting when trying to access links from bookmarks. I am not having this problem sorry. Of course I have had very few problems with the OCB since its release. Are your operating system settings and browser settings set to English - US ? Just another thought |
| #5hivemechaJan 23, 2011 21:09:03 | Yes. It used to work, and I had characters on it. I deleted them because I read somewhere that characters can get corrupted. It still won't work. |

What operating system and what browser are you using? I was just on there making some characters for a game this coming Saturday. |
| #7drnickJan 23, 2011 21:48:43 | Try this: Close out the browser and reopen it. Before going to the wizards site, clear your browser cache. Additionally (this may be overkill), I would run Disk Cleanup (or whatever the Mac equivalent is if you use that) and clean out your temporary internet programs folder as well as the temp folder. Then try goign to the Wizards site and opening the builder again. |
| #8hivemechaJan 23, 2011 23:24:43 | :\ still not working. I run Windows Vista and use firefox. I'm wondering if it might be a problem with my DDI subscription. |

| #10drnickJan 24, 2011 10:42:55 | ^^^ That would be the next step. Also try a different browser. Whether or not it works there would be useful info for troubleshooting purposes. |
| #11grahtJan 26, 2011 15:50:18 | I was using Chrome and the online CB started crashing on me all the time. I switched to Internet Explorer and have only had it crash once. |
