#1 Stazz Dec 10, 2008 0:36:46	Topic says it all. The program installed, locked up my computer, and now my computer is unable to start windows. System restore isn't able to run, and Vita's start up repair isn't able to fix the problem. Has anyone else had any issues with the character builder?
#2 WolfStar76 Dec 10, 2008 9:40:28	While I haven't read every single post, I can say that this is the first I've heard of this particular issue in the forums. I'm curious - did you reboot after installing .NET 3.5 SP1, before installing the CB? I don't recall if this was a step that was required or not for the Beta, but I'd, personally, be far more suspect that it was .NET that would break windows than the CB Beta. .NET makes a handful of system/registry/etc changes. However, the CB Beta is so self-contained that I carry my copy around on a thumbdrive and plug it into my laptop when I want to run it (Laptop has .NET 3.5 SP1 already). I'd be curious to see if it was truly the CB, or if it was .NET that broke your system.
#3 Stazz Dec 10, 2008 23:55:51	Yeah the computer froze during the .net update. After researching it, I believe that was the actual cause of the problem.
