| #1on_the_wings_of_tpkDec 17, 2008 1:32:10 | So a couple of players gave this a try, and other then a some basic math errors, it looked promising. When the Beta came out, I decided it couldn't hurt to try it, right? Ok the down load process was annoying, but whatever. I have a 3rd level drow rogue that I attempted to put into the build and see how it worked. My group - the one I'm a player in - rolls 4d6 drop the lowest 7 times, keep the best 6 for stats. The builder can not repoduce that. I also can not simply input in my own numbers for stats. Further I can not adjust the point buy value for generating stats, up or down. I see no value in a program designed to help build characters, but gives neither DM, nor player the ability to choose how we generate our states. |
