Character Builder freezes whenever I hit "Get Update"

Jul 06, 2010 21:42:04		I can't figure out what's wrong. Whenever I try to get an update of the latest content, the character builder freezes (specifically, tempcharbuilderupdater.exe freezes).

I've tried opening RealCharacterBuilderUpdater.exe directly, but that won't run at all.

Any thoughts?

You might want to try the repair option, that will usually fix problems.  If that doesn't work I'd try a re-install of the application.  Don't worry, your characters won't be deleted if you uninstall.

Unfortunately, the repair option isn't available to me- the button is unselectable. I'll try a reinstall and see if that works.
