I have a level 3 Changling Assassin (executioner) and have found that CB is incorrectly calculating the attack bonus.

I am using a Rapier and have the following for the Manual Calculation :
Proficiency : +3
Dexterity : +4
1/2 Level : +1
LB Expertise : +1
Total = +9 (But CB only shows +7)

When I add a +1 Death Strike Ki Focus
Proficiency : +3
Dexterity : +4
1/2 Level : +1
LB Expertise : +1
Ki Focus : +1
Total = +10 (But CB only shows +8)

From this I can only assume that Character builder is no adding the 1/2 Level and the Light Blade Expertise to the Calculations. (though the +1 damage to Combat Advangate targets is showing on the bottom of the page).

Is anyone else seeing this?

I will be submitting a bug report on this to (once I have built a few more test cases to verify things with).

Cheers.

It may not be applying the Executioner feature that lets you use DEX for MBAs - what's your STR mod?

I thought about that but my strength mod is +1 as opposed to my dex of +4 ... so the difference does not add up.

Are you wearing armor that you are not proficient in?  That would account for a consistent -2 on all attack rolls.  Executioners are proficient in Cloth and Leather (but not studded leather).  In my case when I tested it it auto-equipped me with Leather Armor, but I have seen the CB equip people with Studded Leather automatically, even though they weren't proficient in it (that seemed to happen quite a bit before the last update, not sure if it does it anymore).

When I build a similar character it always tells me it's using STR for the basic attack on the first page summary and on the power card, but it calculates properly as if it were using DEX.  That's pretty normal though, it does that on all the characters I've made that don't use STR for their basic melee attacks - the card is misleading but the math is right.

Bingo. You were right on the money. I made the character while the feat requirement for Studded Leather was not part od CB and it automatically assigned me Studded Leather, now with the update it is correctly applying the penalties.

Switched back to stadard Leather Armour and the problem is solved.

Thanks Much.
