| #1datura23Sep 19, 2011 9:49:55 | Yesterday my players call leveled up to level 3. I was able to assign the new encounter powers to the cleric and the paladin but the Character Builder is not allowing me to select a level 3 encounter power for the rogue. Why is this?
Is this a bug or is there some errata that eliminated the level 3 reward for rogues? |
| #2frothsofSep 19, 2011 10:29:04 | which power |
| #3datura23Sep 19, 2011 11:13:49 | Any powers. The builder is not allowing me to select any level three powers. They option (big green button) does not appear. |

If so, then they don't get to "pick" encounter powers. They just get extra uses of (in this example) (Back Stab?) or Power Strike. |
| #5datura23Sep 19, 2011 12:00:48 | I'm not sure if the character is Essentials or not, since it is possible I made a mistake when initially creating the character. However, I was able to choose feats and powers for the character at level 2. Is there any way to tell if a character in the CB is Essentials or not? |

However, I was able to choose feats and powers for the character at level 2. It's based on class/subclass. Just post what class the charater is and we'll figure it out. For example I said above that Slayer and Thief are both "essentials" classes (Fighter and Rogue varients respectively), but there are many others. |
| #8frothsofSep 19, 2011 12:18:46 | yeah it hink he might get another backstab or something if its a thief |
| #9datura23Sep 19, 2011 13:01:58 | The character is a Rogue with the Thief subclass, which would explain the issue. Thanks for the help! |
