| #1foxbat64Feb 20, 2012 22:57:54 | Ever since the main D&D site changed its layout I've had a ton of problems accessing it in Google Chrome - the formatting on the front page is off, the sign in/sign out button in the upper right does nothing when clicked, and any attempt to log into the Silverlight tools results in failure, claiming that my session has expired. I've managed to find workarounds for the login issue via accessing the compendium through the menu at the top, looking up an entry and logging in that way, but the Silverlight tools refuse to work. Has anyone else running Google Chrome run up against this issue? |
| #2XynthorosFeb 21, 2012 9:02:29 | I run google chrome, and as far as I can tell I have absolutely zero of the problems that you have mentioned. Try clearing your browser cache and the like, sometimes its attmpts at loading what it has in the cache interferes with what is present whenever a website has significant update. |
| #3edteeth101Feb 21, 2012 9:43:36 | I can run it in Chrome, but I cannot enter anything in text fields. I can backspace, but not actually enter text. I'm also on a Mac, so maybe that's something. |
| #4foxbat64Feb 21, 2012 12:55:44 | Seems to be resolved, thanks for the replies =) Was an issue with my script blocker (which I should've looked at WAY before trying any of the other stuff I tried x_x) My derp, sorry! |

I have to clear cookies to force it to let me log in again every time. Chrome version: 17.0.963.56 m |
| #6NarasilMar 19, 2012 19:28:54 | I am using Chrome as well and cant Log in. i can get to the compendium and log in when that prompts me. The logon button on the front page does nothing and if i log in through the compendium and look back at the main page it says i am logged in but when i go to character builder it trys to load then says i am not logged in. Tried deleting extensions Tried deleting all cookies and temp files any suggestions ? ![]() OK it seems to work if i log into the fourms first then open a tab and open up the CB |
| #7adiri101Mar 23, 2012 21:24:42 | ok seriosly i just bought the CB and im stuck on the loading screen for like an hour and a half and when it dose go past the loading screen is says i didnt log in even though i did. what the heck please i need help and no one is helpling me. |
| #8Jaden.ShadowcraftMar 24, 2012 22:43:34 | You need to check which version of Silverlight you are using. According to WotC tech support, the CB is not compatible with 5.0. However, Microsoft automatically updates Silverlight from version 4.0 if you download it - so I'm not sure what can be done. |
| #9adiri101Mar 25, 2012 1:44:31 | omg thats sooo lame!! do you know if there going to fix it? cuz i only bought 1 month but still thats like 10 dollers that went down the drain. |
| #10_Mithreinmaethor_Mar 25, 2012 10:25:01 | You can always uninstall silverlight 5 and install silverlight 4. |
| #11aquafoot43May 18, 2012 20:23:12 | I can run it in Chrome, but I cannot enter anything in text fields. I can backspace, but not actually enter text. I have this exact same problem. Any way around this? |
