I did have the following thought though. Every month a new book comes out, and Wizards puts up a new gallery of art, which is mostly full of great pictures of heroes that I could use. I'd just have to add them to whatever folder the character builder puts it's portraits in, right? Or maybe modify them down to the right scale, and then move them. Would that work? Does anyone know? |

You can adjust the picture within the character sheet window to move the focus of the picture around, or change the zoome by using the wheel on your mouse...assuming you have a wheel mouse... |

The reason to crop them, is so that when viewing characters by Icon (within the character builder) , you can clearly see the face. True you don't need to place an image in the SamplePortraits folder. I like to place my new images in the folder, so that I can browse them all at once. Using Windows 7 I can have the selection window display extra large images and see the preview of many images at once to help me make a selection. Just my personal preference. |
