In case anyone is interested I created a template for the Character Portraits based on the ones included with the program. Pictures inserted in the frame should be 284x256 pixels.

Portrait files should go in the ddi folder created under your Windows profile My Documents\My Pictures folder.

Enjoy!

Funny; I don't follow this rule with the portraits; I just upload them from my better half's (she's a digital artist) files. I don't seem to be getting problems.

I did hear problems from some people though, but never figured out what it was. Can anyone enlighten me?:D

There is not a problem that I am aware of; I just created this so all of my portraits would be the same size and style (with the little border) as the ones that come with the program. I'm just **** that way.

As you said, you can put pretty much any pictures you find there, it should autosize things as needed.

The only difference is that you don't get the border. I like the border so I created this template to supply it on all pictures I import. Uniformity is important to me.
