I though it'd be a good idea, for those nights when you're short on time, want to run a stand alone game, and don't want to waste time rolling or creating characters.

Does anything like this exist?

Mar 15, 2009 20:15:44 Well the Character Builder has a "Quick Character" button where you just put in:
Name
Race
Class
Build
Background
Level

Then it will generate a character for you. You could also build characters before hand and save them in the builder and just pick them when needed.

Here. It ROCKS!

You can upload your *.dnd4e files, and it puts it in a nice display designed for use on an iPhone. You also have the option of downloading the *.dnd4e files from the characters you like!

Mar 15, 2009 22:06:53 Myth Weavers is a good site, though it is down for maintenance at the moment, should be up again in a day or two.

I really recommend you try the Wizard's Character Builder though... its the best program Ive found, particularly since it includes all the information from every released book and dungeon/dragon article, meaning you dont even need to have any books open to help you choose feats, powers, items etc. since thats all in the program's database, and it does online updates every month so its always fairly current.
