| #1Teryion_SoulbladeMar 07, 2010 21:24:15 | I was once able to open the character sheet on the builder, go to file, and select "New Blank Character Sheet" so that I could print fresh sheets with the larger text size that the builder provides. But after the last update the builder fills the Skills section with "0" so that it is impossible to print a sheet without writing over them all. I can find no way to remove the 0's even though all the other number fields are left blank (Ability Scores, Defenses, Etc). The Skills section is the only one that keeps filling with numbers when I try to print blank sheets. |

| #3Teryion_SoulbladeMar 10, 2010 1:05:26 | I am talking that I want no calculations. None. I don't want my power cards to read Hit: 1 [W] + wisdom modifier (+5) radiant damage. I want it to read Hit: 1 [W] + wisdom modifier radiant damage. I also don't want the "New blank Character sheet" option to be all blank but have the Skills section filled in with "0" because of the addition of the skills card in optional cards. I want a blank character sheet that I can set up a customizable layout and print, no calculations. Anyone know how to do that or can ya. And thanks for the welcome, good to be here. |

| #5thurgianMar 15, 2010 12:23:24 | I am reasonably certain that this is related to the "can't modify skills" bug that I reported ... |
| #6Teryion_SoulbladeAug 02, 2010 17:15:03 | Teryion, The issue I reported in the above threat has yet to be addressed. I doubt it is high on the priority list but it is still a bit annoying that it has been nearly 5 months and the "New Blank Character Sheet" option is still useless because sections of the sheet are still being filled with "0's". |
| #7Kaviyd3Aug 05, 2010 13:57:12 | Did you try just downloading the blank PDF sheets from the lower right corner of the main D&D page? Between that and the ability of the Character Builder to add a page of blank power cards, you should get most of what you are after. |
| #8Teryion_SoulbladeAug 21, 2010 22:02:08 | Not really. The character builders character sheet is completely customizable. Being able to choose the way my sheet is laid out is important to me and the only hurdles are the 0's on the skills panel. It worked great until the skill card was added. The pdf character sheet can not be altered or adjusted in anyway. Sure if I get a pdf writer I can fill in the boxes but I want to decide how much space I have in the 'Session Notes' panel, and remove the 'Rituals / Alchemy' on characters who don't have those feats, etc... The power cards are fine, just remove custom and I print once and I am done. I don't want the Skill card removed, just the ability to get my Skills panel to be blank when I bring up a "New Blank Character Sheet". A simple drop down window "Remove Calculations" or or a "Customize" option like the attack and damage workshops have would be perfect. And while I would love this option for all panels, I doubt the team has the time to do that. I want a blank character sheet that I can set up a customizable layout and print, no calculations. |
| #9warrlAug 22, 2010 18:38:52 | Workaround: (1) Arrange the not-quite-blank-enough character sheet the way you like, then print to PDF using a tool such as CutePDF Writer (freeware, installs as a printer driver so anything that can print can go to PDF). (2) Open the PDF in PDF-XChange Viewer, a freeware PDF viewer with some editing capability. Use the Textbox tool to add a blank box, size it, open its properties and turn off its border. Repeat - or copy one blank box and paste it elsewhere - as desired. |
